Positive: Fab location, cosy home with free parking, smart tv, nicely decorated, great host that was there if we needed her, she virtually checked in on us to make sure we were ok after our first night at the property which was an amazing touch! We’ve never had that before. Quiet area and comfy beds so we all got a great couple of nights sleep! Amazing value for money too!
Negative: One small sofa in the living room, as the accommodation sleeps 5, another seating area would be nice to fit the other 3 guests. The dining room table is a nice touch but not comfortable to sit on for a long period of time so I feel like removing that and adding another seating area like a sofa would be great as 3 of our guests had to sit on the floor for the duration of the weekend. There were a few issues with cobwebs, dust, a smelly indoor bin (think a bag must have leaked or something as the bin underneath the empty bag smelt rotten and was very noticeable whenever you opened the bin) and a lack of basics like scissors for example. Really minor things that can easily be fixed! The taps in the bathroom (bath/shower) are on the wrong way so the cold produces hot water and the hot water produces cold water. The front door isn’t sealed sufficiently and we stayed whilst storm Amy was in full force! So we kept thinking someone was walking in the door which frightened us a couple of times but it was just the wind.
